Answers about timers, reminders, backups, Apple Watch sync, and privacy.
Read the privacy policyYes. Starting timers, saving attempts, reviewing history and earning medals work without an internet connection. Kadence has no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Apple handles the initial app purchase.
The ring around the timer shows your current elapsed time. When you choose an average or personal-best comparison, the current-time color gradually covers the comparison color as you approach that time. Passing the reference is a comparison, not a failure. Comparisons need saved attempts for that task.
First open Kadence on your paired iPhone and Watch, with the phone unlocked, to transfer your tasks. After that, the Watch can time and save attempts on its own. Completed attempts wait on the Watch and sync when both devices reconnect. Phone and Watch timers are independent.
If an attempt is still waiting, keep both apps installed, unlock your phone and open Kadence on both devices. Do not erase, unpair or uninstall the Watch app before pending attempts finish syncing.
Check that notifications are allowed for Kadence in iOS Settings, and review Focus and Scheduled Summary. Open Kadence’s Reminder health screen to check pending reminders. Some month-end or future-start schedules need periodic renewal by opening the app. Reminders are prompts: they never start a timer automatically, and delivery depends on system settings.
Use Kadence’s backup export before replacing or erasing a device. Save the file somewhere you control using Files. Restore only a backup you trust, and read the restore confirmation carefully. A backup may contain task names, notes and timing history, so treat it as private. Allow pending Watch attempts to sync before exporting.
Email support@serinamediagroup.com. Include your app version, what you expected, what happened and steps to reproduce it. No task history or screenshot is required.
When available in your build, Report a problem is in the app’s task-options menu and Privacy & analytics. You review your text and confirm Send; technical version information is optional. If Send is unavailable, use the support email instead. An in-app report does not include a reply address; use email if you would like a reply.
Yes. In Privacy & analytics, turn sharing off. Optional sharing is off by default and does not unlock features. It shares fixed category counts, never your custom task names, notes or durations. Turning it off clears unsent counts. Already-combined totals cannot be traced back to you. Read the privacy policy for details.
We’d be glad to hear from you.
